gallery scene 1 N adia Bechirian-Tiseo began her artistic career after completing her Fine Arts degree at Concordia University in Montreal. For the following years she earned a living running her own art and design related businesses and raised a family. Since then she has been creating art across all channels of visual communication.

In 2004 she decided to dedicate herself almost exclusively to painting and immediately emerged to hang her paintings in group shows, solo exhibitions, and won several awards. Her style is unique. She is an artist whose artwork exudes joy, celebrates the exuberance of nature, and a brilliant colorist who creates an art both vigorous and contemplative. gallery scene 2 Her painting series are intricate in design, highly textured, and hold a subtle sense of humour. Her painting process is intuitive abstract and ethereal, but that doesn't mean there aren't some psychological underpinnings going on. Beyond the initial seduction of the viewer's senses, the core of each painting remains an elaborate document on the subject of perception; a subject she has studied in depth and that transpires in their content.

Her academic training, her versatility in the Old Masters techniques and ability to combine them to a variety of contemporary mediums allows her to express herself freely. She uses mixed media for her artworks on paper, and acrylics, oils and encaustic for her painted canvases. She occasionally makes collages, produces mono prints, and keeps on exploring new ways of creating images combining technology. Playing with transparent layers and markings she creates images carrying familiar symbols.

Her paintings are periodically exhibited in galleries across Canada and owned by private collectors in Canada and in the USA.
